The teachers that invited me in for author talks sent me some book reports, reviews, and thank-you notes from students!
Meeting with kids who love the book is ridiculously fun. I love all of their questions and the personal connections they've made to the characters. It's really touching to hear them talk about the characters as though they are friends that they feel like they know.
I am SO happy that they're connecting with the message and realizing they deserve to just be kids and feel safe, supported, and loved.
